Now that this blog has a bit of meat on the bones, I thought it best to make a separate page sharing my favourite links.
You’ll also be able to find a full list of all blog posts here, sorted by category.
Enjoy!
Recommended and favourite blogs:
Joleisa.com – UK and Birmingham-based blogger/owners of Penny Pinchers Paradise. A formidable Jamaican twin duo that pack a punch, whilst also sharing helpful lifestyle tips and advice. Expect straight-talking, no-nonsense, or beating around the bush with these two. Their best quality for sure. ♥️
Michele M Cook – Author and now qualified attorney 👏 The fact that Michele has an actual creek running through her land will always blow my mind. We also shared ex-careers working for Siemens but in completely different sectors. Oh, and we are both huge animal lovers!
Filling the Jars by Julie – Full time blogger, writer and overall lovely lady who writes about decluttering and organising. The ADHD in me wants to sort my life out, and I couldn’t think of any better place to start.
We started as a blogger group over ten years ago now as a support system.
These lovely ladies have their own carved out niche on the web, bringing huge personalities along the way. Do check out their pages!
Whinge Whinge Wine – Fran’s blog comes with a Saharan Desert-dry sense of humour that requires equal amounts of intellect to find funny. Starting off as a mum blog, her content has evolved over time, and her Facebook page continues to provide sniggering to this day. Especially around idiotic <80 IQ people.
Zawn @ Liberating Motherhood – philosophy degree holder, career writer, advanced level yeller of men online, and a feminist – Zawn shares intelligent discussion around a variety of topics, including real reader advice.
Dr. Heather Cox Richardson (Substack link) – a US a Professor of History at Boston College. She writes 10,000+ worded essays on the notable US political news every day (with very few days off). I rwsd every one she publishes. Her writing provides historical context to current affairs whilst being easy to understand, including my favourite part – dissemination of Trump and his daily ‘nuances’.
